Welcome to the Manse PP Finnish Baseball School – Play, Learn & Belong! ⚾
Manse PP warmly invites migrant children aged 7–12 to join our traditional Finnish baseball (pesäpallo) school – a fun and friendly place to play, make new friends, and feel at home in Finland.
Our baseball school is open to all children, no matter their background or previous sports experience. Through games and playful training, children learn the basics of pesäpallo while improving teamwork, confidence, and language skills in a safe and supportive environment.
The one-hour training sessions are held weekly throughout the spring, every Sunday at noon starting January 18th. The training venue is Manse PP’s own indoor training hall in Hervanta, located at Hepolamminkatu 37.
Participants do not need to have their own Finnish baseball equipment. It is sufficient to wear sportswear, warm enough clothing (the hall temperature is 12–17°C), and bring a water bottle when arriving at the hall.
In addition, participants are required to purchase a Finnish Baseball Pass (Pesispassi) and Sport Insurance (Sporttiturva) for a total cost of €16.50 via www.suomisport.fi (club: Manse PP ry). Participants’ Pesispasses will be checked during training sessions in February. Purchasing the pass is mandatory, especially for insurance coverage.
